This one’s a little personal. So, grab a cup of chai or coffee — I’m here to chat, founder to friend.
After months of back-and-forth decisions, brain-frying tech glitches, endless cups of coffee (and maybe a few sleepless nights)… we’ve officially moved our website from Wix to Shopify!
Yep. That’s right. A complete teardown and rebuild. New platform, new features, new energy.
And let me tell you — it wasn’t a small move.
Why the Shift?
Let’s be honest: Wix has been kind to us in the past. It helped us get started. It got us through some major milestones. But as Jadoo Magic started growing — especially with the crazy B2C spike and festive season madness — we began to feel the cracks.
Here’s what wasn’t working:

Glitches. Random ones. Checkout breaking down. Page speeds slowing. Ugh.

Not syncing properly with platforms like Meta — which made tracking ad performance a nightmare.

Manual work — so much of it. From inventory to channels, we were stuck repeating the same tasks again and again.

And honestly, it just wasn’t feeling like the Jadoo Magic we had in our hearts.
So… we took the leap.
The (Not-So-Easy) Process
We knew moving to Shopify would mean starting from scratch. Not just a website redesign — a full rehaul.
From re-uploading every product, to setting up integrations, to fixing layout bugs, to figuring out payment gateways again — it was a LOT.
And it wasn’t cheap either. Definitely costlier than our Wix setup.
But you know what? It was worth it!

Not everything’s perfect.

The costs are higher — both upfront and ongoing.

We’re still learning new systems and polishing rough edges.
But every time we get an order that flows smoothly… or when a customer says, “Hey, loving the new site!” — we know we made the right call.
