The Brief
When Forbes India’s Interface Design Guild approached Jadoo Magic, the brief was clear: create a premium, sophisticated and personalised gifting experience for an important design-led event.
They had come across our products and liked what they saw, which led to the enquiry. But for a prestigious event like this, product quality alone wasn’t enough. The hamper had to feel cohesive, refined and worthy of the occasion.
The Interface Design Guild is a Forbes India platform bringing together conversations around architecture, design, sustainability and the future of the built environment. Its content explores themes ranging from biophilic and resilient design to inclusive spaces and regenerative thinking.
From Sampling to Finalisation
Before the order was confirmed, we created a complete sample set for the client to evaluate—not just the products, but the quality, personalisation and overall unboxing experience.
The feedback was encouraging. They liked how the individual products came together as a complete experience, and the order was finalised.
The curation included a personalised notebook, travel pouch, passport holder, sunglasses/specs cover, luggage tag and key holder, along with the invitation card and event information insert.

Designing the Experience
One of the most important aspects of this project was ensuring that multiple personalised products didn't look like separate branded merchandise.
The box was developed by us specifically to complement the products. The branded sleeve design was provided by the client, and we worked around it to create a cohesive final presentation.
The result was a consistent visual language across the entire hamper: warm tan and brown leather, subtle gold branding, clean typography, the black-and-cream sleeve and coordinated packaging. Even the striped detailing inside the box complemented the overall palette.
The personalisation was carried through every product. With multiple individually personalised pieces in every hamper, there was also an operational challenge: each hamper had to be assembled correctly and identified externally with the recipient's name so the right personalised set reached the right person.

Executing Under Pressure
The order was confirmed relatively late, leaving us with a fixed event date and no room for delay. Every personalised component had to be completed, matched, packed and dispatched to Bangalore on schedule.
The turnaround was tight, but the hampers were delivered as committed. The client appreciated the speed and execution.

For us, this project reinforced something we strongly believe in: personalised corporate gifting works best when personalisation is not treated as an add-on.
When the products, packaging, printed elements and unboxing experience are designed to work together, a hamper becomes more than a collection of gifts.
It becomes part of the event—and something the recipient is far more likely to remember.
